Wilma Slotsema, age 98, of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord and Savior, January 7, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Slotsema, son-in-law Dan Van Ree, daughter-in-law Brenda Slotsema, and her grandson Eric Van Ree. She is survived by her children, Sally Van Ree, Susan and David Gift, Steven and Kristi Slotsema, Shirley and Michael De Bat, and Larry and Amy Slotsema; 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 11 at 11:00 am at Zaagman Memorial Chapel, 2800 Burton St. SE, with Dr. Joel Beeke officiating. The family will greet friends and relatives at the funeral chapel on Wednesday from 6 pm to 8 pm and on Thursday, one hour prior to the service, from 10 am to 11 am.
