Wesly Melvin Hahn, age 99, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 3, with family at bedside. Wesley was born in Chippewa Lake, MI to Delmar and Olive Hahn, the youngest of their three children. Wesley was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Thomas Hahn, and his sister, Alma Comer. Wes is survived by his wife Catherine, daughters Cindi DeVries and Melissa Hahn and grand-daughters Heather and Ashley DeVries, as well as several nieces and nephews. Wes worked for Conrail Railroad for 37 years, starting out as a brakeman in the yard and working his way up to yardmaster in the office where he worked for several years until his retirement. He loved the Lord and his church, Grand Rapids First Assembly of God, where he enjoyed ushering and prayer ministries. A graveside service will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery.
