Wayne Lee Knoper, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2025, in Kentwood, Michigan, at the age of 83. Born on January 6, 1942, in Zeeland, Michigan, Wayne was the son of Frederick and Ruth (Gezon) Knoper.

Wayne is survived by his devoted wife, Teresa (Morelle) Knoper, and their children, Kimberly and Bruce Diemer, and Debbie Mickel. He cherished his role as a grandfather to Emily and John McCarthy, Connor and Jodie Diemer, Tim Edgar, and Brian Edgar, and was especially proud of his great-grandchildren, Jack and June McCarthy, Jenna Diemer, and Amaya Haig. He is also remembered by his siblings, Ronald Knoper of Zeeland, Bruce and Ruth Knoper of Zeeland, Karin Don Carlos of Wisconsin, and Marcia DeYoung of Zeeland. He was predeceased by his beloved grandson, Scott Edgar.

A loving Christian man, Wayne led a fulfilling life as a sales manager and later as a self-employed entrepreneur. He had a passion for traveling and was known for his handy skills, always ready to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors. Wayne's warm spirit and kindness touched the lives of many, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23, from 5 to 7 PM at Zaagman Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, April 24, at 11 AM, with an hour of visitation prior, beginning at 10 AM. In honor of Wayne's memory, memorial contributions may be directed to the Lemmen Holton Cancer Center.
