Stacy Jean Dempsey (41) passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Friday, July 5, 2024. She was preceded in death by her father, Marshall G. Dempsey (38) in 1987, her mother Cindy Kay Dempsey (61) in 2018, her brother Brett C. Dempsey (35) in 2003, and her grandmother, Shirley Curtis (93) in 2024.

Stacy is survived by her brother Adam Dempsey, nephews Adam Dempsey Jr. and Marshall Dempsey; nieces Holly Dempsey and Kaitlyn Dempsey; step-father Michael Luther (Jamie); special friend Glenn Shupe; grandmother Ruth Whetstone (Leon), and several uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Stacy's greatest passion was bowling and she was a member of a league for several years, traveling to state tournaments, and winning trophies. She also dearly loved dolphins and was thrilled to be able to go to SeaWorld in Florida and actually see them. She had an extensive collection of ceramic dolphins which she treasured.

Stacy lived in a local support community called Alternative Pathways where she was happy and well cared for in all areas. She had many friends there.

Visitation to be held at Zaagman Memorial Chapel on Saturday, July 13 at 10 AM, service to begin at 11 AM with a luncheon following. Interment at Ravenna Cemetery following the luncheon for those who wish to attend.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Stacy's favorite charities: Alternative Pathways (the support community where Stacy lived the past four years, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or the Humane Society.
