Sara Lu Aldrich, age 85, passed away on Saturday, February 4 with her family surrounding her. Sara is survived by five children, Cheryl (Craig Evans) Aldrich, Lori Aldrich, John (Mary) Aldrich, Lisa Robins, and Brian Aldrich, four grandchildren, Erin, Steven, Ian, Liv, and her sister Janet Wilson. She was predeceased by her parents, John, and Dorothy (Conway) Pinegar, and her husband Fredric Aldrich in 2011. Sara was a loving, kind and compassionate person who was deeply invested in her family and those she cared about. To her, being a Pediatric Nurse and caring for her patients was something she took great pride and care in. Of her many hobbies, arts and crafts was a favorite of hers. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, February 10th at Holland Home Breton Ridge, 2772 Pfeiffer Woods Dr SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49512.
