Roy M. Brummel, 87, of Grand Rapids, went to be with his Lord on April 20, 2025. He was born in Flint, MI in 1937 to the late Nelson and Frieda Lindemulder Brummel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Caleb Brummel. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Muriel Brummel; their children, Mel and Joni Brummel, Beverly and Frank DePiazza, Kenneth Brummel and Anne and Bentley Kollen; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; and his brother Don and Ruth Brummel.

Roy attended New Community Church and was active in Cadets. He had an amazing love for plants and helping others. Triponds Campground was a special place and he enjoyed his time there immensely. Roy's number one priority in life was his family, he loved them dearly and showed it in many, many ways.

Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Thursday April 24, 2025 at Zaagman Memorial Chapel, 2800 Burton St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546 with a service to promptly follow at 3:00 PM . Private Burial at Rosedale Memorial Park.
