Robert Dale Winkel, 80, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 and went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was the son of Dirk and Geraldine Winkel (Vander Laan). He is lovingly remembered by his wife Doris Winkel (Meyer); four children and their spouses, Karen (Gary) Baker, David (Jana) Winkel, Kathy (Tony) Frollo, Dan (Erica) Winkel; brothers, Rich (Maggie) Winkel and Ralph (Bonnie) Winkel; ten grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Bob was a true gentleman who was dedicated to both his faith and his family. He and Doris enjoyed travelling the world together, from the Amazon River to Hawaii. They had the kind of love that everyone hopes for and they truly enjoyed each other. Both a strong but also gentle leader, Robert's lifelong career was in tool and die management, with 45 years spent at Walker Tool and Die.

Always kind and generous, his love of the Lord came through in his mission trips to Mississippi to repair and build houses. When it came to his own home, he loved living on Big Whitefish Lake and felt blessed that he and Doris could have their dream home.

With a beautiful voice and a love of music and singing, Bob was a proud member of the King's Choraliers for 55 years. He made an impact on both family and friends and will be genuinely missed by all who knew him.
