Robert "Bob" Allan Krikke, age 65, passed away on October 18, 2026.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 40 wonderful years, Sue Krikke, cherished children Alyssa (Spencer) Perry, Emily (Kenne) Liimatta, and Nathan (Kortney) Krikke, and treasured grandchildren Levi and Aurora Perry, Lilja and Anika Liimata, Jackson Krikke, and 2 other grandchildren on the way. He is also survived by his mom Ann Krikke, siblings Kathy (Tom) Laarman, Jim (Terry) Krikke, and Linda Plekker, and loved ones Mike (Missi) Heemstra, Terry & Lori Sytsma, and his French daughter Marie-Laure Schneider.
Bob is preceded in death by his father Lloyd Krikke, brother Ronald Krikke, and his mother and father-in-law Bill and Harriet Heemstra.
Bob attended Grand Rapids Christian High and went on to become a hardworking general contractor/builder. He began working for his dad at the young age of 8 and continued to work for himself starting in 1989, until his well-earned retirement last year.
Bob loved flying and was a private pilot for 15 years. You could often find him at the airport viewing area watching the airplanes. He also loved watching the Detroit Tigers and playing softball, basketball and golf. Bob still holds the State of MI class B High Jump record of 6' 11.5". He was also widely known for his famous chocolate chip cookies and his love for peanut M&M's.
He had so much love for his family, especially his grandkids and being around his family was one of his favorite things. Bob was a strong, heavenly follower of Christ and stood very firm in his beliefs and principles. He was always looking for ways to help others any way he could and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Bob will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
