A funeral service will be held in her honor at Shawnee Park Christian Reformed Church on Monday, December 2, at 12 PM, with two hours of visitation prior, beginning at 10 AM.

Rita's friends and companions in her retirement community described her as a "bright light" who brought joy and warmth to everyone around her.
