Richard Lee
Hoolsema
May 15, 1934 — Feb 6, 2023
Hoolsema, Richard Lee
The Lord brought me into this world in 1934. He took me into his arms February 6, 2023. I married my best friend Ruthelaine (who went to be with Jesus on May 24, 2017) and we had two children together. I am survived by my two children, Andrew Lee and Rosemarie (Michael) Dykstra, my grandchildren, Frank, Cristina, Rebecca, Nathan (Treya), and Erin (Josh), and my great grandchildren, Misa, Izzabelle, and Griffin, Kaylin, Sariah, and Elliana.
I leave behind Marie Noe (and her four children). We met back in our college days and have been friends ever since. After her husband Carl passed and Ruthelaine passed, we became close and were married in June of 2018. I also leave behind one brother James and his wife Gail. My last years were spent at Holland Home Raybrook campus in assisted living. My entire career was spent as a public accountant. A celebration of my life will take place at the Raybrook Chapel on Monday, February 20, 2023, at 10:00am. I would like you to visit my family and friends after the service in the Friendship Room at Raybrook for continued fellowship and light refreshments.
If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord", and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)
