Patricia Ann Vidro, fondly known as "Pat," passed away peacefully on September 5, 2025, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, at the age of 89.

Born on March 19, 1936, in Columbus, Ohio, Patricia was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Norbert Vidro; her parents, Pat and Louise Draeger; and her sister, Carole Draeger.

Patricia is survived by her children, Carole Johnson (Mark) and Greg Vidro (Becky); her grandchildren, Brandon Wilcox (Julie), Brittney, Aliya, and Caleb Vidro; and great-grandchildren, Holden and Luke Wilcox. She cherished her family deeply and was a constant source of love, creativity, and strength.

Patricia earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kendall School of Art and Design. Before starting her family, she worked for layout and design in advertising at Wurzburg's Department Store, where her creativity and eye for detail shined.

A woman of strong faith, Patricia was actively involved in her church community—volunteering and participating in Bible studies. She had a passion for arts and crafts and especially enjoyed sharing that joy with her children and others. In recent years, she found delight in playing BINGO, which brought her much joy and connection.

Patricia will be remembered for her kindness, her artistic spirit, and her unwavering dedication to putting others before herself. She touched many lives with her warmth and generosity, and her memory will be cherished always.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 12:00 PM at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 2750 Burton Street SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. Visitation will be offered prior to the service in the narthex of the church at 11am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of Patricia's compassionate and giving nature.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
