Groff, Nella (nee Borgman) Riley, (102) of Grand Rapids, passed away in Grand Rapids, MI on April 19, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husbands Gale R Riley, and James B Groff, Mother Kate Borgman, Father John Borgman, and sisters, Marie (Ed) Medendorp, and June (Don) DeJager, brothers Richard (Grace) Dykhouse Borgman and Fred (Elaine) Borgman. Her stepsons, Craig Fisher Riley and David Groff, and a very special friend Ralph Kemink. She is survived by her three children, and their children; daughter and son-in-law Gwen and Joe Aldrich, their children Mike (Lisa) Aldrich, Emily (Randy) Pratt, Mark (Autumn)Aldrich; daughter Marlene Riley her son Jeff Heilman (Susan); Brian Riley and stepson Nelson (Liane) Groff of Yuma, Arizona. Great grandchildren; Brennon, Toby and Riley Aldrich, Jacob, Katelynn and Nathan Heilman, Mason and Asher Pratt and Ella Aldrich. One (special) Sister-in-law, Elaine Borgman, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.Nella was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, and a friend to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. A service to celebrate Nella's life will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel at Raybrook Manor. Memorials may be sent in memory to the Kate Borgman Nursing Scholarship Fund of Calvin College, Holland Home or to a charity of one's choice.
