Mercedez Cano-Hernandez, age 78, of Wyoming, Michigan, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024. She was preceded in death by her son, Jamie Hernandez; and her brother-in-law, Jesus Gallarzo. Mercedez will be deeply missed by her husband, Manuel Hernandez; her children, Oralia Rivera (Rey David Rivera), Manuel Hernandez (Sara Mendoza), Yolanda Juarez (Miguel Juarez); grandchildren, Eric Rivera (Katherin Rivera), Monica Rivera, Vanessa Lopez (Omar Lopez), Daniel Hernandez, Evelyn Hernandez, Ariana Vicente (David Vicente), Mike Juarez, and Areli Juarez; great grandchildren, Natalie Vicente, Leonell Vicente, and Kailani Juarez; sisters and brother-in-law, Facunda Gallarzo, Amada Cano-Lopez (Magdaleno Lopez). The family will be at Holy Name of Jesus Parish (1048 Chicago Dr SW, Wyoming, MI 49509) on Friday, July 12. There will be a private family only visitation from 10-11 am, Public visitation from 11 am-12 pm, and a funeral and Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon. Guests are invited to meet at Winchester Cemetery (on 76th St. between Burlingame Ave and Clyde Park Ave) for a graveside service following the service at church.
