Mary T. (Ryan) Muenzenmeyer of Grand Rapids passed away peacefully at her home on September 9, 2025.

Mary was 91 years old. She was born to William and Gladys Ryan. She married her high school sweetheart Walter Muenzenmeyer and they had 70 wonderful years together. Mary enjoyed reading, swimming, bowling, and most of all dancing with Walt on Friday and Saturday nights.

Mary is survived by her husband, Walter; daughters Linda Klebe (Byron) and Michele Wieringa; sons Steve (Michelle) and John (Thea Chudova); grandchildren Karen, Eric, Matthew, Katherine, Ashleigh, Kevin, Allyson, and Yana; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters Nancy Ryan (Ed Nummedor) and Patricia Race (Dave); and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Gladys Ryan, siblings Bill Ryan, Pat Ryan, Sally Curran, Tom Ryan, David Ryan; son-in-law, Ted Wieringa, and grandson Ryan Michael Muenzenmeyer.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 20, at 11 AM at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Family will receive visitors for one hour prior to Mass, beginning at 10 AM.
