Marietta "Mari" Rios 85, of Grand Rapids passed away into her eternal home on Sunday, September 18, 2022. Her family remembers her as a kind, gracious, and strong-willed leader. Mari enjoyed cooking, tending to her flower garden, and finding a good book to dive into. She was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her children, Kay (Doug) VanStee, Martin Kempenaar, Scott (Kerstin) Rios, Kelly (Bill) Doughty, and Connie Reid, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday September 21, 2022, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 2900 Burton St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI.
