Marian DeVries, age 96, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 20, 2022. She was predeceased by her husband, Simon Jr. and her son, James. Marian is survived by her son, Wallace and daughters Ellen Olefsky and Karen and Finley Taylor, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Also survived by two sisters, one brother, many nieces and nephews.

A life well lived until the very end. She was kind, generous, loving and an amazing friend to all. Her door was always open, she was a supportive listener who helped many throughout her life. Marian was a second mother to many and a champion for those who struggled.

James 4:14, "Whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow for what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away." Her greatest desire was for all to know Jesus.

A private burial has taken place and a celebration of Marian's life will be held at a later date. In memory, please make memorial contributions to David's House Ministries, WAR International or Mel Trotter Missions.
