Knoll
Apr 23, 1921 — Dec 15, 2024
Peggy Knoll, after 103 years, has left her earthly home on December 15, 2024, and has gone to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior whom she loved so deeply.
Peggy was born in April 23, 1921 to Fred and Ella VanderLaan in Muskegon, Michigan, where she grew up. On April 9, 1943, she married Arnold Knoll, and they were married for 52 years. She was a longtime member of Seymour Christian Reformed Church, where she was always active in serving her Lord. Throughout her life, she was a witness for Jesus and always showed love, compassion, hospitality, and generosity to everyone. She loved reading the Bible and daily devotionals and was a faithful prayer warrior. Spending time with her family was a very special part of her life.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister and brother-in-law Elizabeth and Webber Sternberg, her sister-in-law Sarah Dick, her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Thelma and John Schildhouse, her precious granddaughter, Alison Postma, and many dear relatives and friends.
She has survived by her children Robert and Ruth Knoll, Pat and John Timmerman, and Randy and Marijo Knoll; 10 dearly loved grandchildren, Scott (Bonnie) Knoll, Sue and Jeff Dood, Jeffrey Timmerman, Betsy Lara, Tamara (Tom) Maki, Joel Timmerman, Kevin (Julie) Knoll, Missy (Brent) Haverdink, Jason (Kelly) Knoll; 23 precious great-grandchildren Mitchell (Jeanna), Savanna (Alec), Isabella (Ethan), Tanner, Connor, Kyle (Alyssa), Carter (Tiffany), Chloe (Jeff), Kobe, Keegan, Lee, Logan (Pegy), Elise, Finn, Kyle, Kendall, Sam, Claire, Carson, Will, Brady, Mason, and Evie.
We as a family thank God for giving us such a precious mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt, and friend to so many.
We extend special things to Dr. Riekse, the staff on Raybrook Devos third floor, and staff on the fourth floor nursing who so lovingly cared for her in her final months and days, along with Faith Hospice.
Funeral services will be held at 12 PM on Wednesday, December 18, at Zaagman Memorial Chapel, 2800 Burton St. SE. One hour of visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 11 AM. Private interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Memorial contributions to Holland Home Patient Assistance fund in Peg's memory would be greatly appreciated.
