Lou departed from this earth on November 5, 2023, and arrived to the place that Christ had prepared beforehand for him. He is predeceased by his parents John and Katherine Heys and his sister, Janice Heys. He leaves behind those who anticipate seeing him again in heaven; his loving wife Gayle, their three children, Randy (Lien) Heys, Mary Heys, and Tom Heys; his brothers and their wives, Dr. Donald (Marie) Heys, and Dr. Ronald (Sue) Heys; two grandchildren, and nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held at Ada Bible Church East Paris Campus, on Thursday, November 9, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Ada Bible Church, Faith Hospice, or Emmauel Hospice.
