Lois Ann Meekhoff, age 79 of Hudsonville, went to the loving arms of Jesus on August 1, 2024, surrounded by her children.

Lois was an exceptionally hard worker, a trait she proudly passed down to her three children.

Most of all, Lois loved her family. She loved being a grandmother and was extremely proud of all of her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, singing, and music in many forms, including playing the organ and piano.

She will be deeply missed by her loving children: Doug and Kristi Meekhoff (Evan (Elia), James, Benjamin, Daniel), Geoffrey and Katherine Meekhoff (Madison (Hunter) Niederer, Maxwell (Mackenzie), Margaret); Jennifer and Eric Bakhuyzen (Audrey, Kathryn); siblings; Beatrice (Gregory) Bennink, Paul Kramer, Roger (Tammy) Kramer; siblings-in-law; Dorothy VandenHeuvel, Daniel (Marjorie) Meekhoff; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband James Lee; sister Esther Slings, sister-in-law Ruth Freerksen; and her parents Rev. Siebert and Evelyn Kramer.

Friends and relatives may meet with Lois' family for an hour of visitation on Thursday, August 22, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Community Reformed Church, 10376 Felch Street, Zeeland, MI.
