Lois Huizenga, at age 100, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Huizenga; brothers, Jack and John Slagter; sister, Thelma Snoeyink; daughter, Beth Ritsema; and grandson, Jeffrey Jennings.

She is survived by her son, Mark Huizenga; son-in-law, Mark Ritsema; grandchildren, Rachel, Samantha, Keegan, and Taylor; and her five great-grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed and remembered by those who knew her as someone who loved Jesus, attended church regularly throughout her life, prioritized her family, and enjoyed taking daily walks.

Lois's life will be celebrated by her immediate family in a private service.
