Linda Marie Henke, age 73, passed away peacefully into her heavenly home on Thursday, May 5, 2022, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was born in May of 1949 to Donald and Marjorie Henke and was a sibling to two and an aunt to many. Linda was known as someone who always went the extra mile for her family; she never failed to display a motherly role to her many nieces and nephews. Either she would be attending events or pitching in to help where she could; she always made the effort to be present in their lives. She had a heart of giving; Linda truly lived to love to contribute to any animal resource or shelter she could. Her family remembers her generosity that shined through with such humbleness. It was the simple pleasures and gestures that made Linda who she is and how her family is remembering her. She is predeceased by her parents, siblings, Donald and Mary Henke, and her recent niece, Beth Ann Nielsen. She is being remembered and missed by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and friends. A private family graveside service will be held with Zaagman Memorial Chapel.
