Lena A Priest, of Hersey, MI passed away on March 2, 2024. She was born in 1924 in Grand Rapids to the late Lorenzo and Marianna Bulgarella. She was preceded in death by her brothers, John, Dominic, and Joseph; sisters, Catherine, Concetta (Mary), and Michelena. She is survived by her children, Louis (Kathy), Marianne (Ed), Susan, and Tony; sixteen grandchildren; and loving brother, Anthony. Lena was head cashier at Meijer and retired after over 20 years of dedicated service. She was a wonderful mother and will be missed greatly. Lena loved to sew and crochet and learned to love baseball after moving in with her daughter, Marianne. The family would like to thank the dedicated staff at Tustin House for the special care given to Lena. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate her life will be held at St. Stephen Catholic Church on Friday March 8, 2024 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday March 7, 2024 at Zaagman Memorial Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Tustin House in her memory.
