After eight years with Alzheimer's disease, Kathleen K. Bouman, 78, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 6, 2024. She is survived by her husband Bob, daughters Jennifer (Jeffrey) Gauthier and Dana (Aaron) Glick, her grandson Zachery Bouman, and brother Gene (Janice) Keessen.

Kathy graduated from Calvin University and taught at Forest Hills and Ada Christian schools. After raising her daughters, she worked in her husband's insurance agency until 2000 when they both retired.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Cascade Fellowship Christian Reformed Church, 6655 Cascade Rd, SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. The service will be livestreamed at www.youtube.com/@cascadefellowship/streams for those who are unable to attend. The family will greet friends at the church on Monday, January 15, from 5 to 7 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to a charity of your choice.
