June (Gabrielse) Tilma, age 90, loving mother and grandmother, entered the church triumphant on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. She was born June 14, 1933 in Sheboygan, WI. She was married to Jack Tilma for 36 years, who preceeded her in death in 1991. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Theodore and Dennis Gabrielse, and by brother-in-law and sister-in-law Stuart and Jean De Jong. She is survived by her children Barbara (David) DeKorne, Marijo (Mark) Vaughan, Thomas (Amy Poplaski) Tilma, Larry (Lori) Tilma; grandchildren John (Rebekah) DeKorne, Daniel (Karyn) DeKorne, Jeffrey (Alyssa) DeKorne, Robert (Jamie) Vaughan, Ryan (Chelsea Jandernoa) Vaughan, Anne Tilma and Nicholas Tilma, Joshua (Chelsea) Tilma, Luke (Emily) Tilma, Emma Tilma; great grandchidren Hannah, Leah, David, Kathryn, Andrew, Klaire, Jack, Hudson, Madison, Callie, Parker, Avery, Remy; sister Eunice (John) Stegink; sisters-in-law Shirley Gabrielse and Jan (Vic) Scheffler; numerous nieces and nephews.

June was a longtime member of Plymouth Heights Christian Reformed Church and was a faithful encourager to many with her card and phone ministry.

The family would like to thank the Raybrook Manor staff - especially 3rd floor nursing, for the loving care they gave to June.

A celebration of God's faithfulness in June's life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 6, at Plymouth Heights CRC, 1800 Plymouth Ave. SE. The service will be livestreamed at www.phcrc.org for those who are unable to attend. The family will greet friends and relatives at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel, 2800 Burton St. SE. on Friday, January 5, from 6 to 8 pm and also at the church on Saturday one hour prior to the service.

Memorial contributions in June's memory may be made to the Plymouth Heights CRC Christian Education Fund.
