Judyth Loraine Dougherty, age 90, of Grand Rapids, slipped peacefully into the arms of Jesus on June 14, 2023. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Floyd Dougherty and Ellen Wheeler, and her sister Mabelle Scott. She is survived by her niece and nephews, Mickey (Ron) Hutt, Jim (Cheryl) Scott, David Scott, and Jerry Scott, and dear friend Therese VandenAkker. A memorial service will be held at Plymouth United Church of Christ, 4010 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI, 49508, on Tuesday, June 27 at 1:00 PM with an hour of visitation prior starting at 12:00 PM. Those who wish to honor Judyth's life may consider making a memorial contribution to the National Alliance of Mental Illness or to Plymouth UCC, the church that held a very special place in her heart, and where she was equally cherished by the congregation. Inurnment to take place in the Plymouth Church Memorial Garden.
