Johanna (Jo) Van Manen, 89, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully surrounded by family at home on August 29, 2024.

She was an alumna of Timothy Christian school in Elmhurst, IL and Calvin College where she majored in education.

Jo was a faithful member of Shawnee Park CRC. She loved singing in the choir and women's Bible study.

Jo was dearly loved by her family. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 64 years Jack, her children Jeff-deceased (Deanna) and sons Jeff, Michael (Brittany) and Scott; Julie (Jon) Kuyers and children Josh (Sarahbeth), Jillian, Jaclyn (Joel) Norman;

Joy (Joel) Rusticus and children Jacob, Hannah, and Ben; Jill (Chris) Larsen and children Jessica and Rachel;

and 4 great grandchildren.

We rejoice that she is now in the arms of Jesus and enjoying glory.

There will be visitation on Saturday, September 7, at Zaagman Funeral Home at 2:00pm prior to the celebration of life service at 3:00pm.
