Ivan C. "Bud" Korhorn, age 90, of Cascade, was called to his eternal home according to the plan of his Sovereign Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Tuesday, March 4, 2025. He is survived by children Dean (Mary) Korhorn, Heidi Van Baren, Stephen (Sandra) Korhorn, Karen Korhorn, Barry Korhorn; grandchildren Lance (Claire) Korhorn, Molly (Nathan) Vander Woude, Melissa Van Baren, Jeremy Van Baren, Alex Korhorn, Allyson (Jake) Stranz, Rachel Korhorn, Evan Korhorn, Kathleen Korhorn, and Kimberly Korhorn; great-grandchild Riley Stranz; siblings Marjorie DeHaan, Etta and Bill Post, David and Diane Korhorn, and Mary Baldwin; in-laws Dolly Geers and Jane Heemstra; and many nieces and nephews. Bud was preceded in death by his wife Carole Faye, son Roderick Korhorn, son-in-law Gerald Van Baren, in-laws Dale Mensch, Sandy DeHaan, Dan Baldwin, Fred Geers, Ken and Joyce Rietema, Hollis and Mary Heemstra, David and Nancy Ondersma, and Tim Heemstra. A memorial service will be held at First Protestant Reformed Church, 2800 Michigan St NE, on Friday, March 7, at 11:00 AM with visitation prior beginning at 9:30 AM. A private family burial service was held at Cascade Township Cemetery.
