Gregory Alan Peters, age 78, of Hudsonville, Michigan, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Eleanor Peters, his baby sister, Leslie Peters; and brother-in-law, Tom Koorndyk. Greg is survived by his loving wife, Marsha; his children, Christopher Peters, Kevin (Lyn) Peters, Kerri (Jim) Robinson, and Kelli Visser; his grandchildren, Micah (Jade) Peters, Tyler Peters, Jillian Peters, Abbie Wheeler, Caden Peters, Lorelei Visser, Ryan Robinson, Connor Robinson, and Andrew Robinson; his brother, Dave (Mary) Peters; his in-laws, Pat Koorndyk, Meriel (Jack) DeGraaf, Bob and Nancy Koorndyk; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Greg was a faithful and committed servant, known for being loyal, extremely loving, giving, selfless, beloved, and helpful. He proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict and worked as a Dispatcher and Power Controller for Consumer's Energy for nearly 40 years. Greg enjoyed building Legos, boating, camping, going to the cottage, and finding projects that didn't need to be started in the first place!

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the entire staff at Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Zeeland, especially Christy Breuker, for the wonderful care and compassion they provided during Greg's decline.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Alger Park CRC (2655 Eastern Ave SE, 49507) with Pastor Jon Zondervan officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends for visitation at Zaagman Memorial Chapel (2800 Burton St. SE, 49546) on Monday, March 10 from 4-7 pm, as well as one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
