Gladys Nieuwsma, age 92, of Grand Rapids, MI, formerly of Pella, IA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 13, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Harris Nieuwsma. Gladys leaves behind her children, Randy and S. Reneé Nieuwsma, Sher and Craig De Witt, Gary and Pat Nieuwsma; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. Gladys lived most of her life in Pella and had a love for the Lord and for missions. She was a charter member of the Calvary Christian Reformed Church in Pella and was an active member in the church until she moved to Grand Rapids. A memorial service will be held for her in Pella at a date to be determined. Memorial donations can be made to the Cook Center Memory Care unit at Raybrook Manor in Grand Rapids, MI.
