On July 11, 2025, at the age of 85, Gerald "Jerry" Robert McMaster passed peacefully, embraced by faith and love. "Absent from the body, present with the Lord." II Cor. 5:8

Jerry was the beloved husband of Colleen, a loving father to his daughters, Janice Couch (Roy) and Ginger McMaster, and a loving Papa to Holly Lahrman (Joel). He was a precious Beepa to Alexandra Couch, Madison Calkins (Jonathon), Juliet Lahrman, Patrick Lahrman, Oliver Lahrman, Blaine Calkins, Audie Calkins, and Baby Girl Calkins. He was a dear brother to Betty Peelman, Evelyn Cox, James McMaster, and Richard McMaster. Jerry will also be fondly remembered by many extended family members, devoted friends, and loyal caregivers.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Mary McMaster; his first wife, Phyllis McMaster; and his siblings Delaine Johnson, Jack McMaster, Sharon Fisher, and JoAnne Hosler.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at West Cannon Baptist Church, 5760 Cannonsburg Rd NE, Belmont, MI 49306. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18, at 6:30 PM, with visitation beginning at 5:00 PM. A private burial will take place at Findlay Cemetery, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the West Cannon Baptist Church Building Fund or the Ada Fire Department.
