George H Bloem – 7/5/1926 to 11/30/22 - George is survived by his wife, Jeanne, two sons, Pastor Randy (Kathy) and Steve (Robyn), and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by daughter Cynthia Bloem Aldaman and granddaughter Lindsay Hoover and great granddaughter Emily Hoover.

George was a long-time member of Seymour Christian Reformed Church. A proud Grand Rapidian, he attended Ottawa Hills High School and later worked at Paulstra as an industrial engineer. For many years he was the head of Junior Achievement.

George loved to golf and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed working football games at Houseman Field, liked to ride motorcycles and snowmobiles in his spare time, and grew tomatoes to give to people in the church. George worked hard and played hard. He was much loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 6, at 12 PM at Seymour CRC, 840 Alger St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49507, with two hours of visitation prior, beginning at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Seymour CRC Missions, 840 Alger St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49507.
