Frea P Brouwers passed away June 13, 2026 at Sunrise of Cascade.

Frea was born in 1928 in Winschoten, The Netherlands, and emigrated to the US in 1953.

She was preceded in death by her husband Albert, and her brother Pouwel Dieterman.

She is survived by her sister, Ge Roelofs, and her sister-in-law Hanny Brillman-Dieterman in The Netherlands as well as her sons Paul Sr (Kim), and Gary (Cheryl), grandchildren Paul Jr (Anne), Michael (Elizabeth), Colton (Ren), and Carly as well as great-grandchildren Rory, Finn, Declan, and Lochlan.

Frea was employed for many enjoyable years by the Grand Rapids Public Schools and served as the "cafeteria lady" at Ridgeview Junior High and Ottawa Hills High School.

Frea enjoyed cooking, knitting and crocheting, walks outside, and hanging out with her new friends at Sunrise of Cascade.

A private interment service will be held for the family at Woodlawn Cemetery in Grand Rapids.
