Frances Virginia Guild, age 94 of Ada, MI, went to her eternal home on Friday, February 11, 2022. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is remembered as someone who enjoyed gardening, and shopping with her 4 daughters. Frances enjoyed camping with her husband, volunteering in the nursery at her church and had a compassionate heart when caring for children. Her love of pottery and an eye for the finer things in life is what her family remembers her as; a woman of quality. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 75 years, Fred Guild; her children, Gayle Guild, Rene (Tim) Wolterink-Guild, Kimberly (Ron) Geelhoed, and Suzanne (Barton) Grimm; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and daughter-in-law Carla Guild. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Edith (Huizenga) Boersma and her son Fred Guild III. We rejoice that she is now enjoying a sound mind and body in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday, February 17, 2022, from 6-8PM at Zaagman Memorial Chapel (2800 Burton St. SE), and on Friday, February 18, 2022, from 10-11AM at Brookside Christian Reformed Church (3600 Kalamazoo Ave SE), with the funeral service at 11:00AM. The family is kindly requesting that masks are worn for the visitation and funeral service.
