On Thursday, Jan 4, 2023, Frances E Gleghorn went home to her heavenly Father. She was born Sep 14, 1927 to Earl and Lora Emmert in Texas. Frances was preceded in death by her husband James T Gleghorn, her daughter Barbara K Gleghorn, her brother Bill Emmert and her brother-in-law Eugene Gleghorn. Frances is survived by her son and daughter-in-law James and Kimberly Gleghorn; grandchildren Teresa (Ron) Wind, James (Kathi) Valeii, Jeffrey (Paola) Fuentes Gleghorn, Lora Gleghorn; and great-grandchild Soliel Valeii. She is also survived by her brother Hugh (Dot) Emmert and her sisters-in-law Jean Emmert and Patricia (Rob) Smith. Frances followed her son from Texas to Michigan in 1993 and became a faithful member of Calvary Baptist church. She spent her retirement volunteering at New Creations Prison Ministries. Frances was loved and will be missed by many. She was an especially grand Grandmother, spending time with her four grandchildren and great-grandchild. She bravely had all four grandkids over for lots of sleepovers on her own while they were growing up. The family is planning a small service in Dallas this spring where she will be laid to rest with her husband and daughter.
