Ella Topp (age 94) went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, April 24, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Topp, Sr., and her siblings, Wilma DeJonge, Fred Dyk, Alvin Dyk and Joan Wolbert. She is survived by her three sons, Bob Jr. (Debbie), Jim (Susan) and Jon (Deb), as well as six grandsons, Keenan (Barb) Topp, David (Erin) Topp, Kelton (Calee) Topp, Julian Topp, Derek (Catie) Topp and Alex Topp, one granddaughter, Amy (Dana) Sproul, and three great grandsons, Quinn, Daxton and Harley Topp.

Ella graduated from Holland Christian High School, where she would meet her husband. They lived in Holland, Lansing, IL, Kalamazoo (where their three sons were born) and Grand Rapids over the 57 years of their marriage. She enjoyed traditional hymns, such as "In the Garden," gardening, estate sales, antiques, cooking and artistic pursuits such as framing and decoupage. The family joined Shawnee Park Christian Reformed Church shortly after moving to Grand Rapids in 1970. She was part of the choir and some mercy ministries in her time there.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 26, at Shawnee Park Christian Reformed Church, 2255 Tecumseh Drive SE in Grand Rapids, officiated by Pastor Darrin Compagner. The family will gather with relatives and friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Grand Rapids Christian School Association.
