Eleanor (Boersma) Elenbaas, age 100, passed away on Wednesday, January 25 to her eternal home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Eleanor was born on a farm in Moline Michigan as the 2nd of 11 children (Bill, Eleanor, Bert, Henry, Ralph, Harry, Bertha, Grace, Mart, Ben, and Anne). During her high school years, the family moved to Grand Rapids where she lived for most of her life. She married Jack Elenbaas (deceased 2012) in 1945. She was the mother of 4 children, Judy (Dan) Johnson, Marv (deceased 2018), Doug (Gail), Steve (Paula), 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, January 29, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Zaagman Memorial Chapel and one hour prior to services on Monday. Funeral services will be held on Monday January 30, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Zaagman Memorial Chapel, 2800 Burton SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. Memorial Contributions are suggested to Kuyper College, 3333 E.
