Elaine H. Bardolph, age 94, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning September 27, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark in 2004. Elaine will be missed by her children, Lynn McBroom; Mark (Joan) Bardolph, David (Mary) Bardolph; grandchildren, Michael (Abby) Boersma, Lindsay (Tony Hundahl) Boersma, Megan (Adam Robinson) Bardolph, Brian (Rachel) Bardolph, Susan (Tomas Garcia) Bardolph, Laura Bardolph, Amy (Liam) Worden; great grandchildren, Eve and Lila Boersma, Clara, Calvin, and Lucas Bardolph, Samuel and Lucy Hubers; siblings, Mary Brummel, Lois (John) Stob, Robert (Sandy) Kortenhoven, Deb Kortenhoeven; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Elaine was a wonderful mom and a fabulous grandma. She loved to read and enjoyed listening to her children sing in choirs. Over the years, she baked thousands of cookies, was a gracious host who was always cheerful with an eternally positive attitude. Elaine put others ahead of herself throughout her life; especially while helping others in the Family Assistance Program at Calvin CRC. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday, October 2 at Calvin CRC (700 Ethel SE) with Rev. Rebecca Jordan Heys and Rev. Kelly Buist officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service (from 6-7 pm).
