Edith Ruth (Jasperse) Brink, age 96, of Grand Rapids, formerly of East Saugatuck, died on January 29, 2024 in Grand Rapids.

Edith was a long-time member of East Saugatuck Christian Reformed Church, where she participated in many volunteer and leadership positions. She assisted her husband John in his business, John Brink Trucking, for many years. She played the trumpet and piano, sang in music groups, and directed the church's children's choir. In later years, she attended Brookside CRC.

Edith always enjoyed travel, reading and learning. She was a wonderful wife and mother, and a friend to everyone she knew. She was a loving, sweet, compassionate child of God.

She is survived by her children Beth and Chris Cok, and Wes Brink; grandchildren Chelsea Cok, Kendra and Brock Rodgers, Chris Stitt, Philip Stitt and Erin Stitt; four great grandchildren; brother Tom and Rev. Jan Jasperse; sister-in-law Kathryn and Rev. Peter Van Drunen; brother-in-law Rev. John Van Stempvoort; many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been made by Zaagman Memorial Chapel. The family will have a private celebration of Edith's life.
