Edwin Jay Dantuma, 81, of Wyoming, MI, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024. He was born to Edward and Sadie (Koster) Dantuma in 1943. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Rector and stepson, Blake Siesling. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra (Buiten) Dantuma; his two sons, Robb (Shelly) Dantuma and James (Stephanie) Dantuma; stepson, Scott Scholten; sister, Grace Mullennix; and five grandchildren, Ashley, Tory, Kody, Christopher, and Justin; five great-grandchildren, Rowen, Jaxson, Kase, Ryker, and Brayden, as well as many nieces and nephews and his faithful dog, Boo. Ed had a special love for fishing, UofM, the Detroit Tigers and sports all around. He was a lifelong member of Seymour Christian Reformed Church. A memorial service will be at 11:00 am Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Seymour Christian Reformed Church, 840 Alger St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49507.
