Dorothy Cora Bultsma, age 92, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went to be with her Lord on Monday, January 20, 2025. She is survived by her children: Craig (Gayle) Bultsma, Debra (Tom) Lang, Susan (John) Braun, Brian (Kristy) Bultsma, sister-in-law, Mary Mesler, grandchildren: Brandon (Dominique) Bultsma, Alisha Bultsma, Brett (Tori) Bultsma, Jordan Bultsma, Alma (Eric) Freeman, Carolyn (Juan) Chapman, Hannah Lang, Ashlyn (Crew) Kleiman, Jessica Braun, Josh (Abigail) Bultsma, Zachary Bultsma, Lindsey (Joe) Jablonski, four great grandchildren, Calvin McCall, Theodore Bultsma, Arthur Bultsma, Cora Chapman. Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henry, and loving brother, Peter Lindhout. Dorothy was a graduate of Grand Rapids Christian High, and was employed by Hager Lumber, and later, as an executive secretary at Keeler Brass and Pine Rest Christian Hospital. Dorothy enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cooking her famous lemon pie, completing puzzles, and caring for her grandchildren. She and Henry were founding members of Brookside CRC and later attended Calvary Undenominational Church. Following their retirement, Henry and Dorothy enjoyed traveling to Florida, Hawaii, touring Europe, and taking a cruise to Alaska. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 28, at 12 noon, at Zaagman Memorial Chapel (2800 Burton S.E.) with Rev. Kent Frens officiating. Visitation with the family will be before the service at 11 AM. Lunch will be provided.
