Deborah L Bangert, 76, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away on June 21, 2025, surrounded by her children. Deborah was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas. She is survived by her children, Camryn (Jeremy) Swiatlowski, Andrew (Maribeth) Bangert, and Alexis (Lars) Haubold; her six grandchildren: Keller and Aurek Swiatlowski, Cora and Gabriel Bangert, and Oscar and Annalies Haubold; sister, Denise Hill (Vicki Combs). The family will receive relatives and friends at Zaagman Memorial Chapel (2800 Burton St. SE, 49546) on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 5-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Holy Spirit Parish (2230 Lake Michigan Dr. NW, 49504) on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 11:00 am, Rev. Mark E. Peacock as the celebrant. A celebration of life reception will be held at 3:00 pm in Fellowship Hall at Covenant Living of the Great Lakes (2510 Lake Michigan Dr. NW, 49504). Deborah will be remembered for her determination, sense of humor, intelligence, and love for her family.
