Deanna Marie Crooks, age 85, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Monday, August 21, 2023. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Anthony Meyers; brother and sister-in-law, James and Joanne Tregoning; brother-in-law, Roger Schuitema. Dee is survived by her husband William "Bill" Crooks, her daughters and sons-in-law, Deanna Lynn (Brett) Youker, Tomi Sue (Greg) Tchejeyan, Carolyn Ruth (Maciek) Biezunski, Linda Marie (Jim) Badaluco, Kimberley Ellen (Devan) Schuck; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Susan Schuitema, Karen (Don) Trap; many dear and loving members of Bill's family; family members of her second husband, Robert Winter; and countless friends extended relatives whom she loved. Deanna was born and raised in Muskegon, she attended West Michigan Christian High School and was employed at J.W. Messner downtown Grand Rapids for over 30 years. A celebration of Dee's life will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 2, at Zaagman Memorial Chapel (2800 Burton St. SE) with Rev. Shawn Hulst officiating.
