Daniel M.
Goris
Apr 25, 1958 — Apr 12, 2026
On April 12, Daniel Michael Goris, age 67, was called home to Jesus after a 4 ½ year journey with cancer. He leaves behind his wife of 47 years Deborah (Draisma) and his children and grandchildren, Pete and Chrissy Tell (Hudson, Judah, Aric and Kynan), Tom and Jen Goris (Jack and Max) and Stephanie and Jared Van Dam. He also leaves his brothers and sister, Dave and Lynn Goris, Don and Gina Goris and DJ Goris; his in-laws, Marilynn Draisma, Sandee and Gary DeVries, Brenda and Richard Bulthuis, and many precious nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Howard and Marian Goris, and brother-in-law, Michael Egedy.
Dan was always an entrepreneur starting his first business in high school seal coating driveways. In 1984, he and Debbie purchased Ideal Printing and then several other companies, finally branding as Pageworks.
Although from Grand Rapids, Dan and Debbie moved to Holland in 2008 to live on Lake Macatawa where they enjoyed the water and boating. Boating up north in Indian River was a family tradition every summer dating back to when Dan was a child.
Dan reluctantly took a ballroom dance lesson with Debbie and then was hooked. He was a dancer for 28 years competing in several competitions a year, the last being North Star Ball in Chicago in August of 2025.
But most importantly, Dan was a man of integrity who loved the Lord. He lived his life honoring God and being an example to his family. He was a loving and generous husband, father, papa, and friend.
