Cynthia (Cindee) Ruth Schneider was called to heaven on June 25, 2024. Born on October 24, 1954, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to the late Roy and Helen Forbes, Cindee was a beacon of light and joy to all who knew her. Cindee grew up in Wyoming, Michigan, and graduated from Godwin Heights High School in 1973. Her loving husband, Joe, was her partner in life for 43 years, and together they built a legacy of love and dedication. Cindee was a cherished mother to her daughters, Sarah Johnson (fiancé Jeff Hage) and Becky Beach (Joe). Her face would light up at the sight of her grandchildren, Gavin, Ana, Carson, and Kennedy, who brought immense joy and laughter into her life. Cindee is survived by her family, including her sister Suanne Adrion and brothers Roy "Bill" and Jim Forbes, as well as many loving nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. She had a witty sense of humor and a beautiful smile. Her interests were a reflection of her love for life and family. Cindee cherished the tradition of spending wedding anniversaries on Mackinac Island with Joe. Her passion for shopping and reading were sources of great joy and relaxation, but her greatest pleasure was found in the time spent with her family, especially in supporting her grandchildren's interests and activities.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, July 1, 2024, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 2750 Burton St. SE, with visitation at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to either St. Labre Indian School or St. Joseph's Indian School.
