Christie Arlene (Schubert) Fuchs, aged 73, of Wyoming, MI went home to be with her Lord & Savior on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. She was surrounded by friends and family in her final days. Words cannot describe the love she gave out on a daily basis. Christie is preceded in death by her husband Fred of 28 years. Father Basil Schubert, Mother Anne (Houtsma) Schubert, sister Dawn Kroll and sister Deb Schubert. Christie is survived by her son Isaac J Yarrington. Sister Judith Cole, sister Roberta (Tom) Walker, sister Linda Schubert, sister-in-law Fern King and brother-in-law Glen Kroll. Grandchildren Kyle (Mylihn) Herweyer, Dylan Yarrington, Josie Yarrington, William Grabinski and Ryleigh Yarrington. Great grandchildren Hailey, Xander and Benjamin Herweyer; Emma Yarrington and Violet Grabinski. Many nieces and nephews. She graduated from Thornapple Kellogg High School in 1960. She was a member of Byron Center Baptist Church. She worked for many years as a Nurse's Aide. Christie really enjoyed making crafts, reading, spending time with friends, family, her grandkids and her great grandkids. She had her life centered around her faith, her family and her long list of friends. Her family would like to thank the many people who cared for Christie in her many times of need. A memorial service will be held at Byron Center Baptist Church on July 26th at 11:00 am. There will be a time of visitation from 10:00 -11:00 am. There will be a luncheon following the service.
