Celia Boelens-Eastlund, a spirited matriarch, joined her family in heaven on October 17, 2025, a month shy of her 96th birthday. Celia was lucky enough to have two great loves in her life, John Boelens (married 1949 to his passing in 1970) and Victor Eastlund (married 2004 to his passing in 2020).

Celia absolutely adored music, creative pursuits and arts & crafts, and her family, and had a wicked and quick sense of humor that brought laughter to all those around her. She is survived by her sister, Virgina Seegers, of Three Oaks, Michigan, her five loving children, Dan Boelens (Kristy), Linda Boelens Oosta (Ted), John Boelens (Ellen), Marcia Gehl (Eric), and Jamie Williams (Terry). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, whom she spent many meaningful years with: Jennifer, Meredith, Eric, Chase, Alex, Cam, Tyler, Allie, Nick, Chelsea, and Ana, as well as 18 lively great-grandchildren. Her Celebration of Life will be held at Zaagman Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, November 5 at 3pm, following an intimate family burial at Garfield Park on October 21st.
