Cathy Arlene Noviskey, age 65, of Hastings, Michigan, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026, after a brief illness. She was born on December 19, 1960, in Hastings, to Llewelyn "Ace" and Margaret (Ryan) Abbott.

She graduated from Thornapple Kellogg High School and went on to earn her Associate's Degree from Grand Rapids Community College. Cathy dedicated 21 years of service as a Support Professional at Grand Rapids Community College, where she made lasting contributions before retiring in 2021.

Cathy found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved bowling, attending races, spending time on the water, and enjoying lunches with friends. Above all, Cathy cherished her family and treasured every moment spent with them.

She will be remembered for her kind, caring, and selfless nature. Cathy had a way of making everyone feel welcome, always offering a warm smile and a contagious laugh that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Llewelyn "Ace" and Margaret Abbott; and her sister, Carol Conrad.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 45 years, Norman Noviskey Jr.; and her daughters, Carmen Noviskey (Melissa Pierson), and Nicole (Zachary) Dekker; and her beloved grandchildrn, Margeaux Jean "MJ" Amentt-Pierson, Jameson Dekker, and Ryan Dekker. She dedicated her life to being a wonderful mother and grandmother.

Cathy's legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to her family will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Per her wishes, there will be no services at this time.
