Braden Jay Van Putten, age 20, was called home to be with his Lord on September 1, according

to God's perfect plan. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI on March 9, 2004. He attended

Eastside Christian and graduated from Covenant Christian High School. He was a baptized

member of First Protestant Reformed Church. He loved the Lord, his family, and his friends. He

will be remembered for his big smile and kind heart. His spare time was spent tinkering on his

truck and ATV, while helping his friends with theirs. He loved to ride the trails in the UP at his

grandpa's cabin. He is survived by his parents, Pete and Dana; his brothers, Tanner and Chase;

his grandparents, Ron and Gert VanPutten and Ted and Jane Pipe; uncles and aunts, Cliff and

Sue VanPutten, Larry VanPutten, Ken and Dianne VanPutten, Tom and Meribeth Newhof, Del

and Nicole Roetcisoender and Jed and Heidi Pipe; and many cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 5 from 5-7 pm at Zaagman Memorial Chapel,

2800 Burton St SE. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 6 at noon at First

Protestant Reformed Church, 2800 Michigan St NE. There will be a private committal service
