Ashley Lou Walcott, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on December 3, 2023, at the age of 34. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on January 8, 1989, to Carl and Pat Walcott, Ashley grew up in a home filled with love alongside her brother, Jason.

Graduating from Grand Rapids Christian High School in 2007, Ashley was a truly gifted musician. She dedicated her life to the healing power of music, earning her bachelor's from Western Michigan University with a degree in Music Therapy. Her talents on the piano, guitar, and violin brought comfort and solace to many. She also enjoyed spending time curled up with a good book. While living in Indianapolis, she attended Southport Heights Christian Church.

Ashley is survived by her parents Carl and Pat, brother Jason, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A visitation will be held at Zaagman Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 7, from 5 to 7 PM. Funeral services officiated by Rev. Dr. Stephen De Wit will be held on Friday, December 8, at 2 PM with one hour of visitation prior beginning at 1 PM. Contributions in Ashley's memory can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
