Arthur Tutas, 79, passed away March 7, 2023 surrounded by family. The son of Arthur and Harriet (Phillips) Tutas, Art was born in Niagara, Wisconsin and grew up on the family farm. He was predeceased by his parents and siblings George, Walt, Bob, Judy, and Mary Ann. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara, to whom he was married for 54 years; sons David (Denise) and Jason; grandchildren Darby, Abbey, and Sutton; brother Larry; and special family friend Mary Sherman.

Art enlisted in the Air Force following school and proudly served his country. He then moved to Grand Rapids, where he and Barb married and raised their family. For over 35 years Art worked at the Gerald R. Ford airport as a customer service agent. While he was dedicated to his career, his faith and his family were the most important parts of his life. He was an active member at Calvary Church for nearly 40 years. In his free time, Art enjoyed working in his garden and caring for his lawn. Though he was no longer in Wisconsin, he was always an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He was beloved by many and will be truly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 12, from 1 PM to 3 PM at Zaagman Memorial Chapel, 2800 Burton St. SE. Funeral services will be on Monday, March 13 at 11 AM at Calvary Church, 707 East Beltline Ave. NE, with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Contributions can be made in Art's memory to the Humane Society of West Michigan or Calvary Church.
